TEMPE, Ariz. \u2013 The UCLA women’s tennis team and five of its student-athletes were recognized Monday as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association handed out ITA Academic Awards.<\/p>\n
UCLA was named an ITA All-Academic Team for the eighth straight year under head coach Stella Sampras Webster<\/a> after registering a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or better across the 2024-25 academic year.<\/p>\n ITA Scholar-Athletes must have GPAs of 3.5 or better for 2024-25 to be honored. Senior Elise Wagle<\/a>, juniors Ahmani Guichard<\/a> and Mia Jovic<\/a>, sophomore Bianca Fernandez<\/a> and freshman Olivia Center<\/a> reached the threshold.<\/p>\n Wagle became a three-time honoree with her latest appearance, previously qualifying in 2024 and 2022. Guichard and Jovic each made the cut for the second time in as many years.
