Ellen DeGeneres has been accused of causing an auto collision in California prior to her move to England<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In documents obtained by Page Six on Friday, a woman driver claimed the former talk show hit her Tesla after allegedly blowing past a stop sign in Santa Barbara County in October 2023.<\/p>\n

Per the docs, the woman claimed while driving her Tesla, she came upon an intersection with multiple stop signs, stopped and checed for oncoming traffic before proceeding.<\/p>\n

The complainant alleged while moving into the intersection, she was abruptly T-boned by the comedian, 67, causing her an injury.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit alleged the comedian blew past a stop sign before the alleged collision, which happened in 2023 in Santa Barbara, Calif. BACKGRID<\/p>\n

Per the docs, citing DeGeneres\u2019 alleged failure to yield at the stop sign, the complainant is suing her for negligence and seeking unspecified damages.<\/p>\n

A representative for DeGeneres did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n

The news comes just over two weeks after a former cameraman on the star\u2019s former eponymous talk show came forward with more claims<\/a> about the show\u2019s allegedly toxic atmosphere<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While the former staffer on the daily show said DeGeneres could be \u201cnice,\u201d to staffers, if they were \u201ccaught in conversation with [her wife] Portia [de Rossi,]\u201d they could be in trouble.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just hoped and prayed you weren\u2019t seated by her wife, so you didn\u2019t get her attention,\u201d he claimed. He also accused his former boss of having a feud with \u201cHell\u2019s Kitchen\u201d star Gordon Ramsay, saying that she once told an EP, \u201cDon\u2019t let this guy on the show again.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2020, when a deluge of toxic workplace claims emerged, the comedian\u00a0addressed the allegations on the now defunct show<\/a>.<\/p>\n
