It was Caminero\u2019s 43rd homer, extending his career high.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Fortes opened the ninth with a 421-foot drive to left-center for his fifth homer of the season. The shot ended a string of 22 consecutive scoreless appearances by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/brad-keller\/191045\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/brad-keller\/191045\" target=\"_blank\">Brad Keller<\/a> (4-2) dating to July 12.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/bryan-baker\/375008\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/bryan-baker\/375008\" target=\"_blank\">Bryan Baker<\/a> (4-4) pitched a scoreless inning for the win, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/pete-fairbanks\/357339\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/pete-fairbanks\/357339\" target=\"_blank\">Pete Fairbanks<\/a> earned his 26th save in 31 chances.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Chicago put runners on the corners with none out in the ninth. But Caminero threw out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/dansby-swanson\/120476\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/dansby-swanson\/120476\" target=\"_blank\">Dansby Swanson<\/a> when he attempted to score on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/matt-shaw\/1008805\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/matt-shaw\/1008805\" target=\"_blank\">Matt Shaw<\/a>\u2019s bouncer to third.
