Disha Patani’s father defended his elder daughter, Khushboo, following the firing incident.<\/p>\n

Bollywood actor Disha Patani made headlines after shots were fired outside her Bareilly house, which was later linked to a remark made by Khushboo Patani, wrongly connected to spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj. Now Disha Patani\u2019<\/a>s father, Jagdish Patani, has defended his daughter and stated that her remark was misrepresented.<\/p>\n

In an interaction with ANI, Jagdish stated, \u201c\u2026Khushboo (sister of actor Disha Patani) was misrepresented. Her name was dragged into the matter of Premanand Ji Maharaj. We are Sanatanis, and we respect the sadhus and saints. If someone is misrepresenting her statement, it is a conspiracy to demean us\u2026”<\/p>\n

About the firing incident at Disha\u2019s house<\/p>\n

Authorities said several rounds were fired; two rounds of aerial firing were reported at about 4:30 am. No one was injured in the incident.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Dhelana brothers, Virendra and Mahendra, have claimed responsibility for the attack. In a purported social media post, the two men issued a warning to the film industry:<\/p>\n

\u201cI, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran (Delana), brothers, today the firing that happened at Khushboo Patani\/Disha Patani\u2019s (Bollywood actress) house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, UP), we got it done. She insulted our revered saints (Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj). She tried to demean our Sanatan Dharma. The insult of our deities will not be tolerated. This was just a trailer. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect towards our religion, then no one in their house will be left alive,” the message reads.<\/p>\n

About Khushboo Patani\u2019s remark<\/p>\n

Ex-army officer Khushboo Patani recently blasted religious orator Aniruddhacharya Maharaj<\/a> for his remark on live-in relationships, but many misunderstood and assumed that she was questioning Premanand Ji Maharaj for his statement on youngsters having multiple relationships. After she started getting trolled for this misunderstanding, she put out an official clarification and threatened that she will take legal action if the trolling persists.<\/p>\n

Khushboo Patani captioned her post, \u201cFake News Against Me! Deliberate effort to defame me! (sic)” and added, \u201cAll accounts who are deliberately spreading fake news against me will be sued by me under the law of the land! @yourrspiritualgirl, this channel has put serious fake news against me which has nothing to do with me and puts me at unnecessary trolling and risk. We will be filing defamation under IPC 499 and 500, forgery and manipulation under IPC 465 and 469, spreading fake news or misleading content under IPC 505(1)(b), hurting the modesty of a woman, cyber crime, and online harassment of me under IT ACT 66, 66D, 67 against you! I will not spare\u2026 other names as follows\u2026 @utsavshukla.news, @delhi_ka_deepak_official (sic).”<\/p>\n
