The eighth seed Medvedev leads their Lexus ATP Head2Head series 4-2, but Opelka won their most recent meeting in &#8216;s-Hertogenbosch last month.<\/p>\n<p>\nOpelka was one of four Americans who advanced. #NextGenATP teen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/learner-tien\/t0ha\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Learner Tien<\/a> raced past <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/emilio-nava\/n0am\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Emilio Nava<\/a> 6-1, 6-4 while wild card <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/ethan-quinn\/q02l\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ethan Quinn<\/a> downed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/christopher-o&#039;connell\/o483\/overview\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Christopher O\u2019Connell<\/a> 6-3, 6-2. Another American wild card, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/mackenzie-mcdonald\/mk66\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mackenzie McDonald<\/a>, advanced with a 6-4, 6-1 win against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/colton-smith\/s0ze\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Colton Smith<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\nJapanese lefty <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/yoshihito-nishioka\/n732\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yoshihito Nishioka<\/a> secured his first tour-level win since February with a gutsy 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 win against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/jenson-brooksby\/b0cd\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jenson Brooksby<\/a>. Nishioka was a finalist in Washington in 2022.
