Emmy-winner Hannah Einbinder<\/a> was censored by organizers who stopped viewers hearing her anti-ICE message.<\/p>\n

She was bleeped at the 77th Emmy Awards, where she declared \u201cF— ICE and free Palestine\u201d as she accepted the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanna say, go birds, f— ICE, and Free Palestine,\u201d The Hacks star and Philadelphia Eagles fans said as she closed her speech. <\/p>\n

But viewers at home did not hear \u201cf— ICE,\u201d although they did hear the politically contentious message \u201cfree Palestine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Nate Bargatze said, when he took the stage after Einbinder, \u201cShe also cursed, and\u2014let me tell ya\u2014I\u2019ll start a swear jar so fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

Einbinder, who won her first Emmy Sunday night after being nominated for all four seasons of Hacks, told Variety<\/a> that the lauded HBO series will end after its fifth season. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s nice to do something as many times as it should be done,\u201d she told the site, \u201cNot overstay your welcome. Rip it and do it and laugh and cry.\u201d Einbinder\u2019s comments Sunday come after Bargatze promised he would not do any political jokes during the broadcast<\/a> following the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Bargatze told Entertainment Weekly, \u201cI know there\u2019s heartbreaking stuff that\u2019s been happening right now, but I want this night to be an escape, and I think that\u2019s why I was brought on.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI think a lot of people are watching, I know they watch my stand-up for that reason, so I just don\u2019t wanna break that trust that I have in them, and just make the night be a fun night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Einbinder took a different approach during her acceptance speech, following months of public pushback against the war in Gaza. Einbinder, who is Jewish, condemned Israel in the wake of the country\u2019s Oct. 7 response while being honored by the Human Rights Campaign in March<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs a queer person, as a Jewish person and as an American, I am horrified by the Israeli government\u2019s massacre of well over 65,000 Palestinians in Gaza,\u201d she said then, \u201cI am ashamed and infuriated that this mass murder is funded by our American tax dollars.
