CINCINNATI, OH. – After two rounds of the\u00a0Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Oh., the Augusta men’s golf team currently sits 12th of the 18 team field. The Jaguars Pieter Rossouw Jr.<\/a> is in a tie for third after a stellar two rounds that has him at 4-under-par. Cincinnati is the team leader with Louisville second and Little Rock in third.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LIVE SCORING<\/a><\/p>\n

Rossouw fired a 1-under-par 70 in the opening round of the day and then followed that up with a 68 in round two. He accounted for 11 birdies on the day with eight of them coming on the front nine at Coldstream Country Club. A string of three straight birdies highlighted his opening 18 holes of play. He\u00a0then made six birdies and three bogeys in round two.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Stefan Jacobs<\/a>, who finished in the top 10 of the same event last year, shot 71-75 and is 4-over-par. Jacobs had a tough start to the day with a triple bogey on his third hole of the day. He would keep the rest of the scorecard clean and made three birdies on the front nine. He made two more birdies in round two to go along with four bogeys and a double bogey.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Playing in his first event in the fall, Mason Fundingsland<\/a> shot 74-74 and is 6-over-par after day one. Fundingsland tallied four birdies on the day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bo Blanchard II<\/a> got off to a good start with a first round 72, but things got away from Blanchard in the second round as his\u00a079 did not count towards the team score.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Benjamin L\u00fcbker<\/a>\u00a0is the final Jaguar in the field. He posted rounds of 75-74 and is 7-over-par headed into the final round.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The final round is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n
