He had signed with the Portland Trail Blazers last October, becoming the first Hongkonger to land an NBA deal, before being waived the same day and playing the 2024-25 season for the Windy City Bulls, the Chicago Bulls\u2019 G League affiliate.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">A partially guaranteed contract allows a team to waive a player without consequence beyond paying a guaranteed amount.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Set to face the Phoenix Suns in two pre-season NBA China Games in Macau on October 10 and 12, the Nets had previously reached an agreement with China\u2019s Zeng Fanbo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"David Muoka has previously played for the Long Island Nets in the G League.
