But in a recent interview with Vanity Fair,<\/a> Edebiri debunked this theory once and for all, explaining that even though viewers might be interpreting a romantic vibe between Sydney and Carmen, that\u2019s not the intention behind the scenes.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like we\u2019ve been saying since [Season] 1, but I don\u2019t know if people are starting to believe us now,\u201d Edebiri told Vanity Fair.<\/a> \u201cI do think that like there\u2019s something about seeing people where they\u2019re really passionate or where they\u2019re excelling at something, it can feel exciting and charged. It\u2019s a hard thing to talk about because we never get it right.
