Lil Nas X<\/a> has entered an inpatient treatment program. Following his arrest last month, the Grammy winner, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was scheduled to appear in a pre-trial hearing in Los Angeles on Monday. According to Rolling Stone<\/a>, Hill\u2019s lawyers told the court he was not able to attend the hearing because he is \u201cin treatment\u201d at an out-of-state facility. His lawyers did not specify what exactly the singer was receiving treatment for.<\/p>\n \u201cDefendant is allowed to remain out of state as long as he remains in treatment,\u201d Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Shellie Samuels said, adding that if Hill\u2019s \u201ctreatment changes, and he becomes outpatient, then we\u2019ll talk.\u201d<\/p>\n Following the hearing, Hill\u2019s lawyer Drew Findling told reporters that they are \u201cdoing what is best for Montero from a personal standpoint and a professional standpoint, but most importantly for his well-being.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe is surrounded by an amazing family, an amazing team of people that care about him and love him, and we\u2019re just addressing those issues. It\u2019s really as simple as that,\u201d Findling said. \u201cHe\u2019s had a great life, and he\u2019ll continue to have a great life. This is a bump that he\u2019s going to get over.\u201d<\/p>\n Last month, the LAPD responded<\/a> to reports of a man walking \u201cnude in the street\u201d in Los Angeles before identifying the individual as Hill. The 26-year-old was arrested<\/a> and hospitalized for a possible drug overdose. A few hours after he arrived at the hospital, Hill was discharged and taken to jail, according to the New York Times<\/a>. He was charged with four felonies \u2014\u00a0three counts of battery with injury to a police officer, and one count of resisting an executive officer \u2014\u00a0for which he could face more than ten years in prison. Hill pleaded not guilty in a court appearance in August and was released on a conditional $75,000 bail.
