\n His proposal would mean people could access support in person at any hour, without booking appointments.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I think there should be some allocated funding for that”, he said.\n<\/p>\n
\n “People find it easier – certainly myself – I find it a lot easier to speak to people face-to-face with that sort of thing, rather than over the phone. I don’t know why, I just think a lot of people agree and I find it a lot easier.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The petition Shaun set up has been online since Friday, September 12 and has already received more than 50 signatures.\n<\/p>\n
\n “A lot of people struggle with mental health in the UK, and a lot of people deal with it in different ways.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I think, if my petition was successful, and we managed to get funding for people, or for doctors to work during the night with people suffering with their mental health, I think it would make it a lot easier for people who are suffering.\n<\/p>\n
\n “At least then they have a place to go when they’re feeling low or suicidal – or anything like that really.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I feel it would benefit me, personally, but I want to try and help others. That’s my main goal to try and help other people as well.”\n<\/p>\n
