It looks like the Ottawa Redblacks could get their starting quarterback back for what essentially is a must-win game.<\/p>\n
Dru Brown (knee) was listed as a full participant at practice on Tuesday, as the Redblacks started preparations for Saturday’s home game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.<\/p>\n
Brown dressed as the third-stringer but did not play in last week’s loss to the B.C. Lions. Dustin Crum has started the last three games in Brown’s absence.<\/p>\n
The Redblacks (4-9) sit four points back of a playoff spot. Winnipeg (6-7) is one of the teams Ottawa is chasing.<\/p>\n
Limited to eight games this season, Brown has thrown for 1,842 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions.<\/p>\n
Blue Bombers starting quarterback Zach Collaros was listed as limited for Tuesday’s first practice of the week.<\/p>\n
Collaros suffered a head injury on Sept. 6 versus Saskatchewan and did not dress for last week’s loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.<\/p>\n
Blue Bombers coach Mike O’Shea told reporters there was no update on Collaros.<\/p>\n
Montreal Alouettes starting quarterback Davis Alexander (hamstring) remained limited as the team returned to practice ahead of Friday’s road game against the Toronto Argonauts.<\/p>\n
Alexander has missed the past seven games.<\/p>\n
McLeod Bethel-Thompson started last week and was excellent in Montreal’s surprise win over the league-leading Saskatchewan Roughriders.<\/p>\n
