LAKE BLUFF, Ill. \u2013 Two members of the Navy women’s golf team wrapped up play at the 2025 Jackson T. Stephens Cup on Tuesday afternoon, with junior Emma Tang<\/a> placing 33rd and senior captain Hallie Brisco<\/a> finishing right behind in 34th at the conclusion of the third round in Lake Bluff, Ill.

\nThe two-day, 54-hole tournament at the par-70, 6,163-yard Shoreacres Golf Club featured one of the strongest fields in NCAA Division I golf, with Tang and Brisco being among the five individuals invited to compete in the 35-golfer women’s leaderboard.

\nTang kicked off the nationally-televised event with a two-over par 72 in Monday’s opening round, while rounds of 8-over par 78 and 16-over par 86 across the rest of the tournament sent her to 26-over par 236 for the week.
\n\u00a0
\nFor Brisco, she recovered from a tough first day that had rounds of 20-over par 90 and 16-over par 86, shooting a 7-over par 77 on Tuesday to pull herself to 43-over par 253 for the tournament.

\nThe individual medalist on the women’s leaderboard proved to be Macy Pate of Wake Forest, who shot an 8-under par 202 to earn the title. SMU’s William Sides claimed the men’s individual crown while Chip Deegan represented Navy on the men’s side and finished 16th.

\nThe Jackson T. Stephens Cup is named in memory of the late Augusta National Chairman Jackson T. Stephens, who attended the Naval Academy and graduated as a member of the Class of 1947. The field at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is named Jack Stephens Field, whose gift of $10 million in 2003 aided in the renovations of Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, as well as a handful of other projects part of the United States Naval Academy Campaign: Leaders to Serve the Nation.
