The versatile Portuguese defender appears to be the Colchonero pick to strengthen their backline, after moving on from their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur\u2019s Cristian Romero.<\/p>\n<p>The Argentina international was dubbed as the \u2018dream\u2019 signing this summer, but with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football-espana.net\/2025\/07\/09\/tottenham-hotspur-given-huge-boost-as-atletico-madrid-give-up-on-top-target\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spurs unwilling to yield on a rumoured \u20ac70m asking price, it appears they have decided a deal would be too costly<\/a>. Bayern Munich have previously been cited as one of the other teams interested in Veiga, should a move not transpire.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udd34\u26aa\ufe0f Renato <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Veiga?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">#Veiga<\/a> has almost agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid and is keen on the move.<\/p>\n<p>It depends on the agreement with Chelsea. L\u2019Equipe say that a second \u20ac35m offer has been made for Veiga, but the consensus is that <a href=\"https:\/\/chelsea.news\/category\/news\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chelsea want a minimum of \u20ac40m<\/a>, even if that includes some variables.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf9 BREAKING: Atl\u00e9tico Madrid has already made its second offer to Chelsea for Renato Veiga: \u20ac35m.
