Exceptional Image Quality: The advanced optical design features 10 groups of 13 elements, including 5 low-dispersion and 2 high-refractive-index glass elements. This minimises distortion, reduces ghosting, and delivers crisp, colour-accurate images, even at f/1.4.

Beautiful Bokeh: The wide f/1.4 aperture and 13-blade diaphragm create smooth, natural-looking background blur, making your subjects stand out.

Fast, Quiet Auto Focus: Powered by an STM motor for responsive, near-silent autofocus, great for both photography and video.

Durable, Lightweight Build: Constructed from a mix of optical glass, aluminium alloy and PC materials, the lens is robust yet easy to handle, weighing only 580g (610g with lens hood).

Magnetic Lens Cap & Filter Support: The magnetic lens cap protects the lens and makes attachment effortless. Magnetic filters can be mounted directly for fast, reliable filter use.

Custom Function Buttons: Two customisable buttons on the lens give you quick access to functions such as minimum focus distance or focus lock (functionality depends on your camera body).

Smooth Aperture Control: The manual aperture ring has defined click stops for each setting. Switch to the ‘A’ position to instantly set the aperture to f/1.4.

Firmware Upgradeable: USB-C port for easy firmware updates to keep your lens performing at its best.
