\n\tAmazon is joining the Masters Tournament lineup.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tAmazon Prime<\/a> will be the domestic broadcaster of the golf<\/a> tournament starting next April. The streaming service joins the live coverage on CBS Sports and ESPN.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe move comes as Amazon has been scooping up sports rights for Prime Video, which has included NFL Thursday Night Football and will soon include NBA games on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Amazon also has streaming deals with the WNBA and NWSL.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Masters is unusual in that its media rights agreement is renegotiated annually, and controlled by Augusta National, including all ad sales. The Masters is also the most popular golf tournament in the world, and lends credibility to any sports division, making it a sought-after asset.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s an honor for all of us at Amazon to become a broadcast partner of the Masters Tournament and to provide fans additional hours of live coverage of this treasured event,\u201d said Jay Marine, head of Prime Video U.S. and global sports. \u201cWe are humbled and proud to begin our relationship with Augusta National Golf Club, and we cannot wait to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStarting with the 2026 Masters Tournament, Prime Video will air two additional hours of first and second round coverage and will stream the masters live on Prime Video from 1-3 p.m. ET on April 9 and\u00a010. This will lead into ESPN\u2019s broadcast coverage on both days from 3-7:30 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n \n\tThe CBS Television Network will air the Masters live from 2-7 p.m. ET on April 11 and 12.
