The Golden State Warriors<\/a> continue to deal with Jonathan Kuminga and his contract issues.<\/p>\n

By now, they have offered him multiple contract options, and he has declined each of them, emphasizing that he no longer wants to be a part of their team.<\/p>\n

Because that is the case, Fansided\u2019s Christopher Kline<\/a> proposed a trade in which Kuminga is shipped out, and both teams benefit from the transaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod knows how badly the Bulls need depth in the frontcourt, especially at the forward positions,\u201d Kline said Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cNikola Vu\u010devi\u0107 isn’t long for Chicago, and the Warriors need frontcourt depth, even with Horford essentially signed, sealed, and delivered.\u201d<\/p>\n

The trade would be Jonathan Kuminga and a 2026 Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> first-round pick, in exchange for Nikola Vu\u010devi\u0107<\/p>\n

Kuminga clearly does not fit the Warriors’ wants and needs, but a player like Vu\u010devi\u0107 does.<\/p>\n

He fits the timeline of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green, as well as offering them the long-awaited center they desperately need.<\/p>\n

Vu\u010devi\u0107 is a perfect pick-and-pop guy to set screens for Curry, and is a career 35% from beyond the arc.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On top of that, he is a two-time All-Star, averaging 17.2 points per game in his career, with a career high of 24.5.<\/p>\n

Kuminga has certainly shown flashes of his potential, putting the ball on the floor and finishing at the rim as a bigger forward doesn\u2019t come easy, but his talent won\u2019t be appreciated in Golden State.<\/p>\n

He would help with Chicago\u2019s forward depth, and Vu\u010devi\u0107 instantly would become the starting center for the Dubs.<\/p>\n
