The Ottawa Redblacks signed punter Noah Gettman to the practice squad on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

Noah Gettman<\/a> is six foot five and weighs 210 pounds. The 24-year-old from Daytona Beach, Florida, signed with the Edmonton Elks on April 20, 2023. The Elks released him on May 13, 2023. Then, he took part in the XFL Specialist Showcase in San Diego, California. The Ottawa Redblacks signed Gettman on November 25, 2024.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Gettman punted the ball 14 times for 636 yards (45.4 AVG) with a long of 59 yards in two preseason games. The Redblacks released him on May 31, 2025.<\/p>\n

Collegiately, Gettman played four seasons at Sacred Heart<\/a> (2018-21) punting the ball 200 times for 7,928 yards (39.6 AVG), 19 touchbacks, 65 fair catches, 68 from inside the 20-yard line, 27 from 50-plus yards, one blocked punt, 77 kickoffs for 3,815 yards (49.5 AVG), nine touchbacks, and six kicks that went out of bounds, converted ten of eleven field goals (90.9 %) with his longest field goal for 35 yards in 40 games for the Pioneers.<\/p>\n

Gettman was named AFCA Second-Team All-American, Stats Perform Second-Team All-American, First-Team All-NEC, and selected to the FCS ADA All-Star Team in 2021.<\/p>\n
