Patients were temporarily relocated to Bushey Fields Hospital in Dudley in September 2023 while the refurb took place.<\/p>\n

They, along with staff from the older adult wards, will transfer back to Edward Street once it reopens.<\/p>\n

Chris Masikane, chief operating officer at the trust, said they felt “proud” to reach the milestone.<\/p>\n

“This major capital development is about creating a safe, modern, and therapeutic environment where older adults can receive the very best care, with dignity and privacy at the centre,” he said.<\/p>\n
