Earlier this year, PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig, and the Dutch midfielder has been drawing interest this summer from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano previously reported<\/a> that Leipzig paid \u20ac80 million for Simons, with \u20ac55 million paid upfront. The 22-year-old signed a contract through June 2027, and PSG included a sell-on clause in the deal.<\/p>\n

CaughtOffside reported Saturday<\/a>, citing sources, that Simons is available this summer for around \u20ac60 million and is open to moving to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Early talks have already started about a possible move to London, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur all being considered as potential destinations for the Netherlands international.<\/p>\n

Simons\u2019 contract expires in two seasons, and RB Leipzig would prefer not to keep him until one year before expiration, so a sale is possible now to avoid losing a valuable asset.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Sky Sport Germany\u2019s Florian Plettenberg shared<\/a> that Chelsea will hold more talks with Simons\u2019 representatives tonight. The club is very interested and eager to secure a verbal agreement.<\/p>\n

RB Leipzig is open to selling Simons but wants a total package of at least \u20ac70 million. Chelsea, meanwhile, hopes to negotiate a lower fee. If the deal with Chelsea falls through, other clubs are ready to make their move.<\/p>\n
