The 2025 Supercars season finale in Adelaide could become a trans-Pacific spectacle, with organisers chasing a \u201ctriple wildcard\u201d of NASCAR<\/a> stars from Ford, GM, and Toyota.<\/p>\n

The Adelaide 500 could soon become a motorsport fan\u2019s dream by bridging Australia and the United States. Organisers have revealed a bold ambition to bring a specific few NASCAR drivers down under for an unprecedented international showcase.<\/p>\n

Which NASCAR Stars Will the Supercars Adelaide Finale Bring to the Global Stage?<\/p>\n

The plan already has one major piece locked in. Ford Cup Series driver Austin Cindric will contest the Adelaide Grand Final in November with Tickford Racing, ensuring that at least one NASCAR star adds American flavor to the grid.<\/p>\n

Cindric\u2019s involvement has been described as a coup for both Supercars and the South Australian Motorsport Board, which has made luring NASCAR talent a strategic goal.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur ultimate ambition is to have a wildcard driver from each of the manufacturers involved in NASCAR; Toyota, Ford and Chevrolet,\u201d South Australian Motorsport Board, CEO, Mark Warren\u00a0told the media.<\/a> \u201cWe\u2019ve now got the Ford driver. It would be fantastic to have a Chevrolet driver and also a Toyota driver in future years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Attention has now turned to General Motors, with everyone wanting a piece of the Connor Zilisch pie. The rising NASCAR prospect is rumored to be a potential candidate to pilot a Chevrolet Camaro at the Adelaide finale.<\/p>\n

Still only 19, Zilisch has quickly made waves in NASCAR\u2019s Xfinity Series and could represent the perfect blend of youth, talent, and marketability for GM\u2019s push. Although Warren stressed that discussions with Zilisch\u2019s team remain ongoing. Previous attempts to lure Kyle Busch in 2024 and Kyle Larson this year failed to materialize.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s been discussions with the GM side for a couple of years. It is difficult, honestly, because it\u2019s Thanksgiving this year at the same time as our event,\u201d Warren explained. \u201cNot all of the NASCAR drivers can make it because they have family commitments, but we\u2019ll keep trying and see who we can get here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regardless of GM\u2019s final decision, Warren emphasised the impact of Cindric\u2019s commitment. The Team Penske NASCAR Cup driver will spend nearly a month in Australia after the conclusion of the American racing season. This will add the international star power to Supercars\u2019 showpiece race.<\/p>\n

The Adelaide organisers first became intrigued by NASCAR crossovers after Richard Childress attended the 2023 event. The South Australian Motorsport Board has since put up funding to secure entertaining wildcard entries.<\/p>\n

With the organizers determined to make the Adelaide finale one of the most globally significant events on the motorsport calendar, having NASCAR stars join in could be just what it needs.<\/p>\n
