Justin Baldoni has beefed up his legal team with a high-powered lawyer.<\/p>\n
The \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d director has brought on renowned defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro to join his stacked legal team in his ongoing battle against his former co-star Blake Lively<\/a>.<\/p>\n A court document filed Monday and obtained by Page Six informs the New York federal court, \u201cPlease take notice that Alexandra A.E. Shapiro of Shapiro Arato Bach LLP hereby appears as counsel for\u201d Baldoni and his co-defendants, including publicists Melissa Nathan, Jennifer Abel and Wayfarer Studios CEO Jamey Heath.<\/p>\n Justin Baldoni hired a new high-profile lawyer as he continues to hash out his legal challenges with Blake Lively. Getty Images<\/p>\n Shapiro is no stranger to high-profile cases, as she is currently also representing Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs, who was recently found guilty of prostitution charges<\/a> but acquitted for sex trafficking.<\/p>\n The experienced trial lawyer was in the courtroom representing the Bad Boy Records founder, 55, earlier this year alongside Marc Agnifilo, Teny Geragos, Anthony Ricco and\u00a0Anna Estevao.<\/p>\n Page Six has reached out to Baldoni\u2019s reps for comment on the latest addition. It does not appear that Shapiro will replace the \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum\u2019s lead lawyer, Bryan Freedman, however, as the latter is still listed on the case\u2019s docket under Baldoni\u2019s team.<\/p>\n She represents Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs.
