\n\tThe Pilots sit at 2-2-3 after earning a 1-1 draw against the Portland State Vikings in the first matchup between the two sides since 2017.
\n\tHailey Still earned her second goal of the season last Saturday, becoming the first Pilot to post multiple goals on the year.
\n\tThe Pilots are currently lead the West Coast Conference in goals-against average (.714) and are third in shutout percentage (.429) and total shutouts (three).
\n\tPortland has allowed multiple goals in just one game this season, marking the second time in three years they’ve conceded more than one goal in just one game through seven contests.
\n\tGoalkeeper Sophia Hills currently leads the WCC in goals-against average at .62.
\n\tThe Pilots are coming off a season that saw them finish 9-5-6 overall and 4-3-3 in WCC play. They’ve won at least nine games each of the last four years, marking the first time the Pilots have put together at least nine wins a season for four straight seasons since a stretch between 2010 and 2013.
\n\tLast season, they were second in the WCC in goal differential (19), goals-against average (0.850) and shutout percentage (.400) while leading the conference in save percentage (.828).
\n\tThe Pilots were picked to finish sixth in the annual West Coast Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, with Keeley Dockter representing the Pilots on the All-WCC Preseason Team. This is Dockter’s first time making it on the preseason squad.
\n\tJillian McBride is the lone returner for the Pilots to earn All-WCC honors last season, making the freshman team. She scored one goal and added two assists in her first year on The Bluff.
\n\tThe Pilots return 16 players from last year’s squad while adding 11 newcomers.
\n\tAmong the key returners are forward Hailey Still and Hailey Bagby, who were second and third respectively on the team in total points. Still scored seven goals for 14 points while Bagby added four goals and four assists as a defender.
\n\tMichelle French is in her eighth season as head coach of the Pilots. She’s posted a 61-42-24 record overall and led the Pilots to their first postseason appearance\u00a0in 2022 in nine years.\u00a0

\nABOUT THE AGGIES<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Utah State Aggies are 3-3-2 on the season, most recently taking down the Utah Valley Wolverines 2-0 at home.
\n\tThe Aggies are coming off a historic 2024 season that saw them go 18-1-5 overall and 7-1-3 in the Mountain West to win the conference and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. They fell in the opening round to the Washington Huskies in PKs.
\n\tTheir 18 wins were a program record, with the team ranking as high as seventh in the nation.
\n\tThis year, they were picked to win the Mountain West crown again in the annual Mountain West Preseason Poll. Kaylie Chambers, Tess Werts and Summer Diamond were all named to the 2025 Mountain West Soccer Watch List.
\n\tChambers was the Mountain West Tournament MVP last season after scoring both goals in the championship contest and was a dominant force offensively, tallying five goals and eight assists. She has a goal and assist through eight games this year.
\n\tWerts earned All-Mountain West First Team honors and All-Pacific Region First Team recognition after scoring eight goals and adding nine assists on the year. She has three assists so far this season.
\n\tDiamond garnered All-Pacific Region First Team honors and All-Mountain West Second Team honors with five goals and five assists on the year. She leads the Aggies with two goals this season.
\n\tManny Martins is in his fifth season as head coach of the Aggies. He has twice earned Mountain West Coach of the Year honors (2023, 2024).
