I love you Mile \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d he wrote<\/a> on Instagram in August.<\/p>\n \u201cSecrets\u201d is one of two bonus tracks on the deluxe version of Miley Cyrus\u2019 most recent album, \u201cSomething Beautiful,\u201d joining \u201cLockdown\u201d with David Byrne. The deluxe album came out Sept. 19.<\/p>\n What Happened Between Miley Cyrus and Her Dad?<\/p>\n The \u201cFlowers\u201d singer had been estranged from her father<\/a> in the wake of his divorce<\/a> from her mother, Tish Cyrus.<\/p>\n In May, Miley Cyrus acknowledged there were issues<\/a> in her family.<\/p>\n \u201cMy dad and I have had our challenges over the years,\u201d she wrote on her Instagram stories. \u201cNow, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI\u2019m at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.\u201d<\/p>\n That same month, she also opened up about the state of her relationship with her dad in an interview with The New York Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAs I\u2019ve gotten older, I\u2019m respecting my parents as individuals instead of as parents \u2014 because my mom\u2019s really loved my dad for her whole life, and I think being married to someone in the music industry and not being a part of it is obviously really hard,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd so I think I took on some of my mom\u2019s hurt as my own because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult, and so I owned a lot of her pain.\u201d<\/p>\n Billy Ray Cyrus is in a relationship<\/a> with Elizabeth Hurley<\/a>, while Tish Cyrus is now married to \u201cPrison Break\u201d star Dominic Purcell<\/a>. Cyrus said her parents have also been able to get past their marriage, which helped her do the same.<\/p>\n \u201cBut now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too \u2014 I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing,\u201d she told The New York Times. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m being an adult about it. At first it\u2019s hard, because the little kid in you reacts before the adult in you can go, \u201cYes, that\u2019s your dad, but that\u2019s just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and to be happy.
