<\/p>\nJuraj Slafkovsky Publicly Called Out by Canadiens GM For Lack of Discipline<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tJuraj Slafkovsky<\/a> has had a slow start to each of the past two seasons and it appears as though his bosses in the Montreal Canadiens’ front office have had enough.<\/p>\n As the Slovak forward enters his his fourth season in the NHL, the clock is beginning to tick for him to show why he was picked 1st overall in 2022.<\/p>\n Canadiens’ Front Office Calls Out Slafkovsky<\/p>\n The executives questioned Slafkovsky on a number of things, namely his slow start to the season, and his interactions with members of the media.<\/p>\n Hughes started by addressing the young star’s slow start to the past two seasons, citing a lack of discipline during the off-season as an area of improvement.<\/p>\n “I know you want to perform, but you need discipline to do what’s necessary to reach 100% or even 95% of your potential.” – Kent Hughes<\/p>\n Gorton followed by discussing Slafkovsky’s media habits.<\/p>\n “The way you vent after a bad game is to tell the media that you weren’t good today.
