New England\u2019s only NASCAR Playoffs weekend<\/a> is underway at New Hampshire Motor Speedway<\/a> (NHMS), and the NASCAR Cup Series<\/a> (NCS) drivers are looking forward to kicking off the Round of 12 this Sunday at the Mobil 1 301<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Denny Hamlin | Driver of the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing<\/a> Toyota<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cNew Hampshire is one of the most exciting short tracks we have on our schedule. Now that it\u2019s back in the Playoffs, it\u2019s super exciting for myself, so as a team and a multiple winner there, it\u2019s a track that I really look forward to going to. We only get to go there once, but the racing is unmatched.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole Custer | Driver of the No. 41 Haas Factory Team<\/a> Ford<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWell I think New Hampshire has become a really racey racetrack. You\u2019ve been able to run from the top to the bottom and really mix it up. It\u2019s a hard place to get right with how flat the corners are. It\u2019s a hard place to get a stock car working right, but it\u2019s become a really fun place that you can run and mix it up at.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyler Reddick | Driver of the No. 45 23XI Racing<\/a> Toyota<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like the surface at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is really coming into its own. The last couple of times that we\u2019ve been there, it\u2019s been a really wide racetrack. It\u2019s been a lot of fun \u2026 I feel like with this car and with us doing that little experiment we did last year, you know, we can race in just about any condition now, so yeah, I think it just really opens up the potential winners and strategies when we go there knowing that we can race in different conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Hunter Nemechek | Driver of the No. 42 Legacy Motor Club<\/a> Toyota<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking forward to going back to New Hampshire this fall. I\u2019m praying for rain again. That was our best rain last time. It was really fun to run in the wet. [I] truly enjoyed it. New Hampshire is amazing in itself, great racetrack, being able to move around, run multiple lanes. \u2018The Magic Mile\u2019 lives up to \u2018The Magic Mile\u2019 name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Austin Dillon | Driver of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing<\/a> Chevrolet<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, looking forward to getting out there. New Hampshire is a large short track, flat. Racing in the rain last year was pretty epic, so if we do that again, I will be prepared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Erik Jones | Driver of the No. 43 Legacy Motor Club Toyota<\/p>\n

\u201cThe race itself has been pretty good the last few years, the way I think the track\u2019s widened out, we\u2019ve run a pretty unique line around there, so that\u2019s really made some good racing, and obviously last year we had the rain, which was a whole other situation thrown in, but the track\u2019s really widened out and changed well, and we\u2019ve got a pretty good tire package there that makes the racing exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Josh Berry | Driver of the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing<\/a> Ford<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to getting back to New Hampshire. It was a great race for myself last year, and obviously the rain and all the strategy that came on that really made it a lot of fun. New Hampshire is a really fun racetrack.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chase Briscoe | Driver of the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always a fun weekend up there, you know, between, they always have the Sprint Cars at the dirt track there, then you have the Modified race \u2026 and obviously the Cup race. So hopefully it\u2019ll be another awesome race like we had last year \u2026 should be an awesome time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ty Dillon | Driver of the No. 10 Kaulig Racing<\/a> Chevrolet<\/p>\n

\u201cThe flat mile, there\u2019s a lot of opportunities to move your line, which as a driver, means a lot. You [want to] have options out there. You feel like you can really create more opportunities for yourself, and they race there in the rain now, so you never know what kind of unique experience, you never know what the weather\u2019s [going to] be like that time of year in New Hampshire, so there\u2019s all kinds of variables that can come in to play with that race now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riley Herbst | Driver of the No. 35 23XI Racing Toyota<\/p>\n

\u201cNew Hampshire is a lot of fun. Wide racing, flat track, should be a pretty aggressive race.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. | Driver of the No. 47 Hyak Motorsports<\/a> Chevrolet<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a track that\u2019s got multiple lanes, and it\u2019s fun to race on, so they\u2019ll see a good race.\u201d<\/p>\n

Justin Haley | Driver of the No. 7 Spire Motorsports<\/a> Chevrolet<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can expect hard racing as normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Mohegan Sun 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour<\/a> (NWMT) race kicks off the Doubleheader Saturday<\/a> on-track action followed by the Team EJP 175 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series<\/a> (NCTS) Playoffs race and NCS practice and qualifying. The on-track action culminates Sunday with the NCS taking on \u201cThe Magic Mile\u201d to kick off the Round of 12 with the Mobil 1 301. Don\u2019t miss all of the exciting off-track action including \u201cThe Magic Mile\u201d Happy Hour Show<\/a>, Trackside Live<\/a>, The Groove<\/a> fan hangout, a Draw the Line<\/a> concert, driver appearances<\/a>, a variety of live performances and much more.<\/p>\n
