CARY, N.C. \u2013 Charlotte Owensby<\/a> and the doubles pairing of Stephanie Yakoff<\/a> and Kavya Karra<\/a> both advanced in the prequalifying draws of the ITA All-American Championships today.<\/p>\n First, in the singles draw, Owensby put up a dominant performance against Yura Nakagawa (Washington State).\u00a0 The senior defeated her foe 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the next round, where she will face Gloriana Nahum (Oklahoma).\u00a0<\/p>\n The ninth-seeded duo of Karra and Yakoff then took care of business against Jaquelyn Ogunwale and Sebastianna Scilipoti (Miami).\u00a0 The pairing opened the match by cruising to a 6-1 first-set win.\u00a0 Their opponents got ahead early in the second set, winning the first three, but the Crimson duo settled back in and closed the match with a 7-5 second-set result.\u00a0 Karra and Yakoff will face Maralgoo Chogsomjav and Zhanel Rustemova (Kansas State) tomorrow.\u00a0
