Katz shared the story on Barstool Yak, their show, earlier this week. He explained that Saudi officials reached out and offered both of them the big money to fly in and be part of the match. But Portnoy and Katz asked for $15 million instead, and when the Saudis said $10 million was their final price, the Barstool stars turned it down.<\/p>\n

Dan Katz, better known as \u201cBig Cat,\u201d revealed the story on Barstool Yak. He said the offer came with a lot of travel and time demands. On the show, Katz recalled the phone call: \u201cIt was a s*** load of travel. Give us like $15 million and we\u2019ll do it.\u201d Saudi officials then replied, \u201cWe can do 10 [million].\u201d Katz said he and Dave Portnoy gave a simple answer: \u201cNo.\u201dKatz also made it clear that part of the $15 million they asked for would go to Barstool itself. He did not name which fight was in question, but said it was one of the major events Saudi Arabia has been hosting. This conversation, according to Katz, happened before recent big boxing nights. MrBeast, whose real name is James Donaldson, even joked on social media, \u201cTyson is about to punch me, because thanks to Riyadh Season, Canelo-Crawford is about to happen.\u201d The video of Tyson pretending to punch MrBeast went viral.Saudi Arabia has already brought LIV Golf, WWE shows, and even an upcoming flag football event with Tom Brady to Riyadh.
