The team colors are black and white, but the roster is going to be green.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Never before in the league\u2019s 79-year history had a team ever taken five players in the first round, and that quintet will all be in Brooklyn this week. It\u2019s a long road for that crop of kids to grow into the Nets\u2019 core, but the first steps down that road begin with Thursday\u2019s practice at HSS Training Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is great. It was a unique opportunity for us, to be quite frank,\u201d GM Sean Marks had said earlier this offseason. \u201cWe\u2019ve never had five picks in one draft. To be able to draft all of them in a draft class we just saw, that was unique. That was something we want to take advantage of, especially in our build, where we see these young men fitting into our group and into our roster.
