<\/p>\n Washington, D.C. \u2013 Carlo Acquista<\/a> has been the Fordham men’s soccer head coach for seven\u00a0years and has accomplished many things, including an Atlantic 10 Championship and multiple NCAA appearances. However, there was one thing he hadn’t done prior to today. Play George Washington University on the road. That changed this afternoon as not only did Acquista lead his troops against the Revolutionaries, the Rams also picked up the win with a 1-0 shutout at the GW Soccer Field.

\nWith the win, Fordham goes to 4-2-2 overall, 1-0-1 in the Atlantic 10, while George Washington falls to 2-5-1 overall, 0-1-0 in the A-10.

\nHow it Happened
\n\u2022 Fordham broke the 0-0 tie when Daniel Lang<\/a> took a feed from Lukas Gatti<\/a> and beat George Washington keeper Tom Macauley in the fourth minute.

\n\u2022 The one goal held up as Fordham outshot the Revolutionaries, 17-7.

\n\u2022 Grad student keeper Tristan Stephani<\/a> totaled three saves for the Rams in recording his third clean sheet of the year.

\n\u2022 Stephani lowered his goal against average to 0.25.
