Visma \u2013 Lease a Bike set the pace early and never relinquished control. The <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/sections\/news\/sarah-van-dam-to-visma-lease-a-bike-for-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dutch WorldTour team<\/a> drove a 12-rider move that thinned the field and would dictate the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>Visma victorious<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Gat2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-128938 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Gat2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\"  \/><\/a>Photo: Gr\u00e9goire Crevier<\/p>\n<p>Veenhoven crossed the line first. She was ahead of Italian teammate Martina Fidanza and France\u2019s Margaux Vigie to complete a sweep of the podium for the Dutch team.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Gat3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-128937 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Gat3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\"  \/><\/a>Photo: Gr\u00e9goire Crevier<\/p>\n<p>The home crowd had plenty to cheer for as well. Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s Laury Milette, riding for Team Qu\u00e9bec, was part of the lead selection. She was joined\u00a0 fellow Canucs Jos\u00e9phine P\u00e9loquin (LA Sweat), Mathilde Huot (Milton R\u00e9volution CC) and Ontario\u2019s Skyler Goudswaard (The Cyclery).<\/p>\n<p>Milette earned two special jerseys. She was best Canadian and best Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise, while Veenhoven added the best young rider\u2019s award to her victory.
