\n\tJessie Cave, who played Lavender Brown across three \u201cHarry Potter<\/a>\u201d films, shared on her self-titled Substack<\/a> that her presence on OnlyFans<\/a> recently got her barred from a \u201cHarry Potter\u201d fan convention.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI found out that I didn\u2019t get booked for a \u2018Harry Potter\u2019 convention recently, as I\u2019m now doing OnlyFans,\u201d she wrote (via Collider<\/a>). \u201cThey explained it was because it\u2019s a \u2018family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.\u2019 This was baffling to me as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they\u2019ve done sex scenes and nudity. I\u2019m just playing with my hair!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Cave feels she\u2019s been \u201ccanceled\u201d from the \u201cHarry Potter\u201d fandom, she added that she\u2019s had her time in the Wizarding World and is ready to let the next generation take over.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am not upset about the prospect of no more \u2018Harry Potter\u2019 conventions,\u201d Cave continued. \u201cThere\u2019s going to be a new cast now and it\u2019s a different time. Plus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCave announced in March that she was starting an OnlyFans page<\/a>. In an Instagram video, she said she will offer \u201cthe best quality hair sounds\u201d and \u201cvery sensual stuff.\u201d She maintained that her OnlyFans is \u201cnot a sexual one\u201d in a follow-up appearance on her \u201cBefore We Break Up Again<\/a>\u201d podcast, adding that it appeals to those with hair fetishes, and that \u201cfetish doesn\u2019t necessarily mean sexual.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn her Substack, she explained in detail why she decided to join the site. She wrote, \u201cOne year. I\u2019ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic\/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I\u2019m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCave first appeared as Lavender Brown in 2009\u2019s \u201cHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince\u201d and reprised the role in both \u201cDeathly Hallows\u201d films.
