<\/p>\n EDMOND, Okla. \u2013 SWOSU Soccer dropped its final non-conference match of the season on Sunday, falling 1-0 to Central Oklahoma after the Bronchos netted the game-winner with just under 10 minutes to play.<\/p>\n The setback moves the Bulldogs to 4-2 on the year as they now turn their attention to conference play.<\/p>\n UCO applied consistent pressure throughout, finishing with a 20-8 advantage in shots and a 9-2 edge in corner kicks. The Bronchos put 10 shots on goal compared to four for the Dawgs.<\/p>\n Ruth Vasquez<\/a> led the offensive push with two shots on target, while goalkeeper Emma Young<\/a> tallied a season-high nine saves before the Bronchos finally broke through in the closing minutes.<\/p>\n With non-conference action now wrapped up, SWOSU shifts focus to Great American Conference play. The Bulldogs will host Southern Nazarene on Wednesday at 5:00 pm for both the GAC opener and the annual Pack The Park event. Students in attendance will enjoy free food, drinks, and shirts, along with a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.
