I could feed a family with the amount I\u2019m eating.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCumberbatch said his diet consisted of five meals a day, with snacks including boiled eggs, almond butter crackers and cheese needing to be consumed between larger portions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHe continued: \u201cIt\u2019s a grossly wasteful industry. \u2026 Think about set builds that aren\u2019t recycled, think about transport, think about food, think about housing but also light and energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCumberbatch acknowledged that the \u201cexcessive\u201d nature of the film industry means that actors are often accused of hypocrisy when they campaign for sustainability. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe actor, who is not slated to appear as Doctor Strange in 2026\u2019s Avengers: Doomsday, added that he attempts to \u201cpush the green\u201d as a producer through this SunnyMarch banner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCumberbatch said this could be as simple as having a \u201cgentlemanly discussion\u201d about banning single use plastics on set. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to give the crew plastic bottles. If you\u2019re in the middle of a desert and you can\u2019t get glass bottles there, fair enough.
