I also tried our TV and home phone and neither of them were working. On X (Twitter), I saw another person in Mississauga report an outage, and at 11:22 a.m., I received a text message from Rogers noting it has \u201cdetected a service interruption affecting internet, TV and home phone services your area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The carrier notes that its technicians are working to identify the source and restore services. (For what it\u2019s worth, there\u2019s been heavy rain in our area, though it\u2019s unclear if that\u2019s the reason.) Rogers adds that standard network issues are typically resolved within four hours, although that can go up to 12 hours should fibre cuts be involved.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, that same text message directs you to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogers.com\/support\/outage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Rogers\u2019 outage support page<\/a>, which isn\u2019t currently reporting any service disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>Update: 22\/09\/2025 at 11:40 a.m. ET\u00a0\u2014 For what it\u2019s worth, service is at least back for me across internet, TV and home phone.<\/p>\n<p>MobileSyrup may earn a commission from purchases made via our links, which helps fund the journalism we provide free on our website.
