<\/a><\/p>\nOn the last episode of Y&R, Billy lashed out at Cane<\/a> after he was nixed from the plan, Traci revisited her past with him, and Daniel helped Tessa\u2019s struggle with Mariah\u2019s shocking confession.<\/p>\n The Neil Winters Jazz Lounge<\/p>\n Sally and Audra talk over drinks. Sally tells her that Abbott Communications is dead in the water. Billy decided that something else was more important than the company!<\/p>\n Audra can\u2019t believe it\u2026 She thought the company was set for success! She wonders if Kyle threw a tantrum and got his father to pull the funding because she was involved.<\/p>\n Sally says Jack did pull the funding, but it was because Billy asked him to. She\u2019s worried about Billy!<\/p>\n Audra is surprised that Sally is still trying with Billy after he did this to her.<\/p>\n Sally sighs. They\u2019re both unemployed now!<\/p>\n Audra says it all seemed so promising\u2026 She hadn\u2019t seen Sally so excited about something in a while! She asks if Billy gave her any reason for doing this.<\/p>\n Sally shrugs. Not really. Billy had told her that he was doing it \u201cfor them.\u201d She saw it coming, which is why she had Billy sign away the company if he ever did get Chancellor back. She can\u2019t believe she believed Billy would change.<\/p>\n Audra asks what Billy had planned to do.<\/p>\n Sally tells her how Billy had planned to work with Cane to get the company back.<\/p>\n Audra is in disbelief. She thinks Billy set Sally up to fall. Are they over as a couple, too?<\/p>\n Sally isn\u2019t sure where she stands with Billy. He doesn\u2019t seem to think she should have a say in what he wants to do. She was going to move in with him, and she thinks Billy wants her to be with him, but he won\u2019t let her have any say in their future\u2026 He had their story already written about their future. She tells her about the newspaper that Billy had printed for her about their future. Billy could have had her, but instead he chose Chancellor and Cane.<\/p>\n Audra asks what she\u2019s going to do next.<\/p>\n Sally doesn\u2019t know. She\u2019s taking some space and time away from Billy. She\u2019s sorry that things didn\u2019t work out between Audra and Nate\u2026 Men have been dragging them both down!<\/p>\n Audra agrees. There\u2019s no way any man should stop them from what they want to do!<\/p>\n Sally appreciates the positivity, but she\u2019s just lost her job and maybe her relationship. She needs time to recover!<\/p>\n Audra says self-care is fine, but beating herself up over it is not. It\u2019s Billy\u2019s loss! Sally did everything for the team!<\/p>\n Sally says she left Marchetti for this job, but the writing was on the wall. She tells Audra to stop her if someone else starts calling the shots for her.<\/p>\n Audra says that won\u2019t happen\u2026 Sally needs to partner with someone who won\u2019t slow her roll!<\/p>\n Sally thinks she knows who that someone may be; Audra would be perfect! They can build something successful from the ground up. The question is\u2026 What would they build?<\/p>\n They brainstorm for a bit, and Audra thinks they could start a vintage store. They laugh as they come up with ideas, and clink their glasses together in a toast.<\/p>\n Society<\/p>\n Kyle enters the restaurant and sees Victoria ordering a drink. He tells the waiter to put it on his tab.<\/p>\n Victoria asks him to have a seat, and he does. She asks him how things are going with Claire.<\/p>\n Kyle sighs. \u201cNot good.\u201d He asks how things are with Claire.<\/p>\n Victoria says Claire is having problems forgiving him.<\/p>\n Kyle sighs. He wouldn\u2019t be in this situation if Victor hadn\u2019t interfered! Why is it that when Victor decides to stop interfering with him and Claire that they\u2019ve been driven so far apart?<\/p>\n Victoria won\u2019t defend what her father has done. She says Victor has tried to ruin her relationships, too, but he wanted to put Kyle\u2019s love to the test, and he passed.<\/p>\n Kyle sighs. He thought he was protecting Claire by not telling her about the kiss and his agreement with Victor.<\/p>\n Victoria says there\u2019s no place for deception in relationships. Claire makes it easy to forget how strong she is! She can handle hard truths, but where there\u2019s love, there\u2019s hope!<\/p>\n Kyle says he invited Claire to go to Paris, the city of love, but she thought he was trying to run away from their problems.<\/p>\n Victoria thinks part of the problem is that Kyle is looking at this like her father would\u2026 Love isn\u2019t a game!<\/p>\n Kyle wonders if Claire is looking for reasons for their relationship to fail. If they both want the same thing, why can\u2019t they have it? Maybe he\u2019s broken it for good.<\/p>\n Victoria says the Newmans and the Abbotts are the same in one way\u2026 They both love to fight! She says Claire came from a background of hurt, but she gave her family a chance. Kyle needs to look in his heart and show Claire what\u2019s in there, too. He needs to fight for her daughter! No matter what Claire says, she\u2019s fighting for Kyle, too.<\/p>\n Kyle appreciates that Victoria is fighting for them, too.<\/p>\n Victoria says she\u2019s a total romantic; she can\u2019t help herself!<\/p>\n Crimson Lights<\/p>\n Claire walks into the coffeehouse. She\u2019s surprised to see Holden there\u2026 Wasn\u2019t he supposed to be in LA?<\/p>\n Holden says his flight was cancelled. He\u2019s happy that he gets to connect with Claire; she and Genoa City will have to deal with him for one more night! He asks how she and Kyle are getting along. He\u2019s happy to listen!<\/p>\n They have a seat, and Claire says she keeps thinking she\u2019ll be able to get past what Kyle did, but then something happens to make her doubt it again. She\u2019s trying to get past this, but Kyle might be trying too hard. She tried to talk it out with him earlier when Holden ran into them.<\/p>\n Holden nods. He says it might be best if she took some time and distance to gain perspective. He asks if 2,000 miles away would help\u2026 Would she like to go to L.A. with him tomorrow? He promises he\u2019s only asking as a friend.<\/p>\n Claire isn\u2019t sure what to say. He told her he enjoyed her company in the park the other day!<\/p>\n Holden laughs. He does enjoy her company, but promises he wasn\u2019t making a play for her.<\/p>\n Claire grins. \u201cThat\u2019s disappointing!\u201d<\/p>\n Holden smiles and says he finds her very attractive, but knows she\u2019s in a relationship. He thinks she\u2019d love LA, and LA would love her! He hopes he\u2019s not making her uncomfortable by asking.<\/p>\n Claire says she\u2019s not feeling uncomfortable. She just wasn\u2019t expecting it! Jetting off to LA sounds tempting, though\u2026 She hasn\u2019t been out of town since her dad died.<\/p>\n Holden thinks he could show her around; she could check out the Hollywood stars!<\/p>\n Claire says what she really wants is to go to Disneyland.<\/p>\n Holden laughs and says he has mouse ears with his name on them\u2026 From earlier that year! Does she want to go? He\u2019s serious about doing whatever it takes to get her to feel better.<\/p>\n Claire says it\u2019s tempting, but she\u2019s not sure where things stand with Kyle. Going away with him wouldn\u2019t help her relationship, especially because of the way Kyle feels about him!<\/p>\n Holden understands. He only wants to support her and Kyle.<\/p>\n Claire thanks him. It means a lot!<\/p>\n Society<\/p>\n A bit later, Claire and Holden enter the restaurant. They approach the table. Claire is surprised to see Kyle there with her mom.<\/p>\n Victoria explains that Kyle was keeping her company while she waited for Claire.<\/p>\n Kyle thought Holden would have been in LA by now.<\/p>\n Holden shrugs. Change of plans; he\u2019s leaving tomorrow, unless there\u2019s a reason for him to stay. He smiles at Claire.<\/p>\n Kyle asks to talk to Claire alone, but she tells him that she has things to discuss with her mom. He nods and asks to see her for breakfast tomorrow, and she agrees. He leaves the restaurant.<\/p>\n Holden says goodbye, but Kyle doesn\u2019t say anything as he leaves.<\/p>\n Claire asks Holden if he\u2019d like to join them for dinner.<\/p>\n Holden says he\u2019s just there to pick up some empanadas and is going to take them up to his suite at the GCAC. He smiles and heads over to the bar to pick up his takeout.<\/p>\n Victoria asks Claire if she\u2019s okay; the business with Audra and her grandfather must be upsetting her!<\/p>\n Claire didn\u2019t realize she was upset, but it didn\u2019t make her happy to see Kyle there!<\/p>\n Victoria says it wasn\u2019t a planned meeting; was it wrong that they met?<\/p>\n Claire says she can\u2019t dictate who she talks to. She asks what they talked about; was he trying to get her to take sides?<\/p>\n Victoria says that Kyle is unhappy about the rift developed between them, but she told him that they needed to work it out on their own. She told him not to give up; Kyle is dedicated to making it work, but he doesn\u2019t know how.<\/p>\n Claire says she doesn\u2019t know either. She thought she could get over it, but she feels like there\u2019s part of her that seems to be intentionally pushing him away.<\/p>\n Victoria nods. \u201cKyle just said the same thing about you!\u201d<\/p>\n Claire isn\u2019t surprised. She can tell how much this is hurting him. She thinks she\u2019s talking about their relationship like it\u2019s already over. She doesn\u2019t want it to be, but she doesn\u2019t want it to hurt anymore! Being with Kyle used to make her feel good, but lately she just wants to run away!<\/p>\n Victoria says it\u2019s not wrong to be honest with yourself.<\/p>\n Claire glances over at Holden and she says that \u201csomeone else\u201d might be getting under her skin. She wonders if she\u2019s not ready for a serious relationship yet; maybe she needs more experience! Maybe she needs to live a little before she commits to one person for the rest of her life.<\/p>\n Holden looks over and notices her gaze on her. He smiles and holds up his drink in a toast, and Claire blushes, smiling back.<\/p>\n The Jazz Lounge<\/p>\n Kyle walks into the lounge and gets a whiskey from the bartender.<\/p>\n Audra looks over at the bar and tells Sally that Kyle seems to be numbing his pain, but there\u2019s not enough whiskey to help when his whole world has fallen apart.<\/p>\n Sally nods. \u201cOr when it\u2019s been torn apart by someone else.\u201d<\/p>\n Audra scoffs. She\u2019s not going to apologize for breaking Kyle Abbott before he breaks someone else\u2019s heart. Maybe she\u2019s just as bad as Billy\u2026 She let her ambition get in the way of her relationship with Nate, who loved her for who she was! She\u2019s sorry she allowed herself to get pulled into Victor\u2019s plan.<\/p>\n Sally thinks she should be telling Kyle this instead of her.<\/p>\n Audra doesn\u2019t think she needs to apologize to him. He\u2019d probably just humiliate her and kick her while she\u2019s down.<\/p>\n Sally thinks that maybe it would be karma\u2026 The universe might turn in her favor!<\/p>\n Audra tells her not to get all woo-woo on her.<\/p>\n Sally laughs. It\u2019s not woo, it\u2019s Buddhism! She thinks Audra\u2019s \u201cuniversal balance sheet\u201d has a deficit, and maybe she needs to rebalance it!<\/p>\n Audra says it\u2019d take her lifetimes for the universe to pay her back\u2026 And she makes her own luck! Kyle screwed himself over; she just helped him see what type of man he is. Maybe she does believe in karma\u2026 He seems to be getting what he deserves!<\/p>\n Kyle wanders over to their table and says he\u2019s sorry to hear about the Abbott Communications launch. It\u2019s probably a blessing in disguise, though; Sally working with Audra can only lead to ruin!<\/p>\n Sally has no regrets bringing Audra on to work with her. She says that Audra just told her how sorry she was about what happened in Nice.<\/p>\n Kyle laughs. He doubts it!<\/p>\n Audra says Sally is right\u2026 She\u2019s sorry; sorry that it took him so long to hit rock bottom! She\u2019s sorry she helped Kyle break Claire\u2019s heart; Claire did nothing to deserve that, even though she did threaten to poison her!<\/p>\n Kyle says she might want to check her glass; Claire\u2019s not the only one in town who might try to save the world from Audra\u2019s misery!<\/p>\n Audra snaps back that she\u2019s not the one who\u2019s sitting alone and drinking by herself\u2026 And Claire probably isn\u2019t, either; she\u2019s probably sitting and having Vespers with someone else!<\/p>\n They go back and forth for a bit. Kyle asks if Nate kicked her to the curb\u2026 Or was that Holden in LA?<\/p>\n Sally jumps in and tells them both to take it down a couple of notches\u2026 People are starting to look over!<\/p>\n Kyle glares at Audra and says that she\u2019s going to be alone for the rest of her life.
