After Team World\u2019s victory at the Laver Cup<\/a> in San Francisco last week, the top men\u2019s singles players will now return to the ATP Tour<\/a> for the Asian swing.<\/p>\n

While some preferred to play in Japan, Jannik Sinner<\/a>, Alexander Zverev, and many other stars will compete at the China Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here is all the key information about the event, such as the prize money, schedule, and where to watch.<\/p>\n

The 2025 ATP China Open starts on Thursday, September 25, and ends on Wednesday, October 1. It will run alongside the WTA China Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The venue for the event is the China National Tennis Center in Beijing.<\/p>\n

The China Open is only an ATP 500 event, and there is also an ATP tournament in Japan this week. However, some top players are in the draw in Beijing.<\/p>\n

More than $3 million in prize money is available to the men\u2019s singles players at the ATP China Open this week. The winner will receive around $750,000.<\/p>\n

The Tennis Gazette writers<\/a> have predicted the winner of the ATP China Open in Beijing.<\/p>\n

Matthew Johns<\/a>: It is really hard to see anyone other than Jannik Sinner winning the men\u2019s China Open title. Sinner has won the ATP event in Beijing before, and will likely be hoping to bounce straight back from the disappointment of losing the US Open final. However, Sinner will need to avoid a slow start, as he has been drawn against Grand Slam champion Marin Cilic in the first round.<\/p>\n

Lee Clarke<\/a>: Lorenzo Musetti is in good form, and surely Daniil Medvedev cannot keep losing matches<\/a>, can he? He does play his Roland Garros conqueror Cam Norrie first up, however, so I will opt for Musetti.<\/p>\n

George Patten<\/a>: Sometimes the obvious answer is the right one, and it\u2019s hard to imagine anyone stopping Jannik Sinner from lifting the title in Beijing. A losing finalist one year ago, his greatest rival, Carlos Alcaraz, won\u2019t be joining him in 2025, leaving him with a clear shot at victory.<\/p>\n
