Over the weekend, Bayern Munich<\/a> notoriously walked away from negotiations with VfB Stuttgart for Nick Woltemade.<\/p>\n

After two failed proposals and a lot of frustration, Bayern Munich had enough. Now, though, there could be voices within VfB Stuttgart who want to continue talks with Bayern Munich per Bild journalist Julian Agardi (as captured by @iMiaSanMia<\/a>): <\/p>\n

Within Stuttgart\u2019s twelve-member supervisory board, there are now voices in favor of a meeting with Bayern. They believe that Bayern\u2019s latest offer (\u20ac50m + \u20ac5m) requires consideration and at least consultation. After all, the offer exceeds Stuttgart\u2019s record sale by almost \u20ac20m. Money that, according to some supervisory board members, VfB could certainly use.<\/p>\n

Does that sound optimistic? Sure, but the biggest voices at VfB Stuttgart are still in favor of stifling Bayern Munich\u2019s interest: <\/p>\n

However, a personal meeting with Bayern is still out of the question for Stuttgart bosses. CEO Alexander Wehrle and sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth still have the support of the vast majority of the supervisory board, including President Dietmar Allgaier and shareholders Porsche and Mercedes. Therefore, the transfer is currently considered unlikely.<\/p>\n

Well…back to the drawing board. <\/p>\n

With a move for Hugo Ekitik\u00e9 getting close, the reality is that Bayern Munich is likely going to get Luis Diaz\u2026whether fans like it or not. Bayern Munich has reportedly also exited talks with VfB Stuttgart to focus on a deal for Diaz. It might also just be time for Bayern Munich to rip off the band-aid and sell Kim Min-jae, Jo\u00e3o Palhinha, and Sacha Boey.
