Below, three pros highlight six looks that they’re loving and say we can expect to see having a major moment for the foreseeable future.\n<\/p>\n Vintage or Hand-Knotted Rugs <\/p>\n Credit: <\/p>\n Erin Williamson Design<\/a><\/p>\n The vintage or hand-knotted rugs that grace many rooms today have major staying power over time, according to Terri Brien, the founder of Terri Brien Interiors. These styles of rugs anchor a room and wear beautifully, the designer says.\n<\/p>\n “Rug styles may come and go (and eventually circle back again), but a well-crafted rug in fairly neutral colors can last you, and even your ever-changing design style, a lifetime,” Brien says.\n<\/p>\n Keep in mind that you do not need to spend a pretty penny to acquire these types of rugs, either. The excitement around all things vintage<\/a> is unlikely to wane down the line, Brien explains.\n<\/p>\n “Vintage brings soul and personality you just can\u2019t buy new,” she says. “The craftsmanship, patina, and one-of-a-kind storied look make a room feel collected instead of ‘just shopped.'”\n<\/p>\n Better yet, she adds, secondhand shopping is sustainable and personal, making it even more of a no-brainer.\n<\/p>\n Even within the general realm of vintage, there are so many different directions in which you can go. Whether you gravitate toward mid-century modern furniture, as pictured in the dining room above, love Parisian-inspired gilded items, or are into achieving a coastal look using rattan or wicker pieces, there are plenty of paths to take.<\/p>\n Rich, Dark Wood <\/p>\n Credit: <\/p>\n Kate Marker Interiors<\/a><\/p>\n Rich, dark wood tones are making their way into more and more spaces these days, and this look is a timeless choice, explains Channing Krichevsky, the co-founder of C&M Interiors.\n<\/p>\n “Our clients are phasing out lighter woods and preferring the deeper, warm textures that feel both lived in and classic,” she says. “It can be a nod to Art Deco<\/a> or offer an old-world feel that will stand the test of time.”\n<\/p>\n Krichevsky has no doubt that dark, rich wood tones will continue to be in vogue, given that they’re rooted in tradition.<\/p>\n Textural Wallpaper <\/p>\n Credit: <\/p>\n Mary Patton Design<\/a><\/p>\n Wallpaper has been back in the mainstream for several years now.
