LUBBOCK\u00a0\u2013 The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women’s golf team wrapped up The Red Raider Invitational in 15th\u00a0place on Wednesday at The Rawls Course.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nThe Vaqueros finished with a three-round score of 942 after posting a final round 317. UTRGV finished two shots behind Incarnate Word.\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nJunior\u00a0Natalia Rodriguez<\/a>\u00a0finished tied for 49th\u00a0with a three-round score of 233 after carding a final round 79. Sophomore\u00a0Miriam Barcalova<\/a>\u00a0finished tied for 60th\u00a0with a three-round score of 236 after posting a final round 76.

\nJunior\u00a0Preston Saiz<\/a>\u00a0and senior\u00a0Cristina Galban<\/a>\u00a0tied for 66th\u00a0with three-round scores of 238 after Saiz posted a final round 87 and Galban carding a final round 77. Sophomore\u00a0Pitchayapa Pungpho<\/a>\u00a0finished tied for 78th\u00a0with a three-round score of 246 with a final round 85.

\nTexas Tech won the team title with a three-round score of 876 and Texas Tech’s Lauren Zaretsky won the individual title with a three-round score of 213 after a final round 68.\u00a0

\nThe Vaqueros will be back in action from Oct. 19-21 at the Diamante Intercollegiate at Diamante Country Club.
