Rihanna<\/a> has given birth to her third child with her partner A$AP Rocky.<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cUmbrella\u201d singer<\/a> turned to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of her holding a child wrapped up in a pink blanket with a gold ring that read \u201cMom.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post\u2019s caption read, \u201cRocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also showed a photo of pink ballet slippers and a bow, indicating that her third child with the rapper is a girl. She and A$AP Rocky \u2014 whose real name is Rakim Mayers\u00a0\u2014 share two sons together as well, RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, who arrived in 2023.<\/p>\n

Many people were quick to turn to the post\u2019s comments section, expressing their heartfelt congratulations to the couple.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The \u201cDisturbia\u201d singer first revealed her third pregnancy<\/a> on the day of the Met Gala in May of this year, as she was seen holding a visible baby bump. <\/p>\n

Rocky confirmed the news to reporters on the gala\u2019s red carpet, saying, per NBC New York<\/a>: \u201cIt feels amazing, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I\u2019m glad everybody\u2019s happy for us \u2019cause we definitely happy, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this summer, fans began to speculate that the couple\u2019s third child would be a girl<\/a> as she appeared at the world premiere for her new Smurfs movie and Rocky asked, \u201cIs that the girl you\u2019ve been waiting for?\u201d in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The rapper responded: \u201cIt is, man, it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, he appeared to quickly redirect his answer as he held up a Smurfette toy (who his wife voiced in the film) and pointed to it, saying: \u201cRight here, right here.\u201d The journalist, Kevin Frazier, insisted, \u201cYou know what I\u2019m asking!\u201d and Rocky responded with laughter, dodging the question.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the \u201cEveryday\u201d musician hinted that the couple would stick with their tradition of picking names <\/a>for their children beginning with \u201cR\u201d, which their own names also begin with.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour first two kids have \u2018R\u2019 names, obviously you and Rihanna have \u2018R\u2019 names,\u201d Seth Meyers asked on his eponymous talk show, nodding to Rocky\u2019s real name. \u201cIs this a lock that the third will have an \u2018R\u2019 name, do you think?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor sure,\u201d he responded.<\/p>\n

After months of romance rumors, Rihanna and Rocky were first confirmed to be dating in November 2020. After welcoming three children together, both have remained on whether or not they are married. Rocky addressed the rumors in an interview with Elle published on Thursday, where he was asked if he was looking forward to being a husband. <\/p>\n
