These are internationally recognized offices active in major global design and architecture platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The Chicago Biennial, held every two years since 2015, is considered a central stage for architecture in North America, showcasing hundreds of international architects, designers and artists. This year\u2019s exhibition, themed &#8220;SHIFT: Architecture in Times of Radical Change,&#8221; features over 100 presentations across key city locations and the Museum of Science and Industry, with an additional 25 works scheduled for November. The current dispute reflects broader trends of isolation of Israel internationally, as well as increasing protests and boycotts in the art and architecture worlds over funding tied to weapons, oil or governments perceived as oppressive.<\/p>\n<p>The participants\u2019 letter came days after a UN Human Rights Council committee published a report claiming Israel is <a id=\"Sy1LjpdtX3xe\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ynetnews.com\/article\/rkerwiehlg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">committing genocide in Gaza<\/a>, amid moves by some Western countries to <a id=\"BkxUipOtmhgl\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ynetnews.com\/article\/hkrzjl11nll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">recognize a Palestinian state<\/a>.
