A Georgia businessman\u2019s billboard tribute to\u00a0Charlie Kirk<\/a>\u00a0is drawing national attention in the wake of the Turning Point USA founder\u2019s recent murder.<\/p>\n

Wayne Robinson, president of Wayne Robinson Holdings, owns a Steak \u2018n Shake<\/a> location in Rome, Georgia. The 1950s-inspired chain serves milkshakes and burgers, and the Rome location is one of hundreds across the country.<\/p>\n

Robinson told Fox News Digital he was devastated after Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while speaking to audience members at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been a follower of Charlie,\u201d said Robinson, noting he was impressed by Kirk\u2019s debates with students on college campuses.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was bringing so many of those young people\u00a0to Christ.\u00a0\u2026 He touched me, and when the assassination happened, it was something that really wore heavy on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wayne Robinson, who owns a Steak \u2018n Shake location in Rome, Georgia, told his marketing partners to put up a billboard that reads, \u201cCharlie Kirk, 1993-2025,\u201d followed by the words, \u201cStand up, speak out, stay bold.\u201d Wayne Robinson<\/p>\n

The day after Kirk died, Robinson was compelled to act quickly. He alerted one of his marketing partners to \u201cput something out there to honor Charlie.\u201d<\/p>\n

The billboard reads, \u201cCharlie Kirk, 1993-2025,\u201d followed by the words, \u201cStand up, speak out, stay bold.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think he would have ever thought, in his wildest dreams, the response that would have taken place after he was assassinated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within days, the response went viral with millions of likes on X \u2013 and Robinson said the local response \u201chas been phenomenal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s got 58,000 local comments. \u2026 People from outlying areas [are] saying they\u2019re going to drive to my store just to eat lunch,\u00a0eat dinner, just to pay respect for what I\u2019ve done for Charlie,\u201d Robinson said. FOX News<\/p>\n

Robinson\u2019s location wasn\u2019t the only Steak \u2018n Shake spot that received an outpouring of customers after the billboard went viral.<\/p>\n

After Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who represents Rome, shared an image of the billboard on social media, people across the country said they\u2019d patronize the chain.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey should be rewarded for this with our business,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n

Robinson said his store had received calls across the country, from Michigan to Wisconsin to California, just to\u00a0say thank you.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey took the time to physically find us, find our phone number at the store and call to say thank you for doing that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Robinson said Steak \u2018n Shake\u2019s corporate office contacted him shortly after the billboard went viral.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey said, \u2018You know, you\u2019re supposed to get everything OK\u2019d through corporate when you use the name Steak \u2018n Shake on it, but we really like it,’\u201d Robinson recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt reached [the Steak \u2018n Shake owner], and he liked it so much he asked if they could have permission \u2026 to do this across the nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steak \u2018n Shake did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Although Robinson is still saddened by Kirk\u2019s death, he said he believes the 31-year-old\u2019s legacy is \u201creaching a lot of people and changing a lot of minds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has started a revival across the country that has been so needed,\u201d Robinson said.<\/p>\n

Robinson\u2019s billboard is one of many tributes to Kirk that have emerged in the past two weeks.<\/p>\n
