\n<\/p>\n Coming off a 4-2 home loss to Bucknell, Saint Francis will aim to carry the confidence from that previous win over the Dolphins into this season’s first conference matchup.\u00a0<\/p>\n THE WORD ON THE\u00a0DOLPHINS The Dolphins are seeking their first team win and first conference win of the season after a series of competitive games on the road, including a 0\u20132 result at Niagara University.<\/p>\n Their lone victory came at home against St. Bonaventure University, a 2\u20131 result on September 3, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n Offensively, Le Moyne has scored four goals through seven games.<\/p>\n Jakob Priestman leads the Dolphins with four goals, while Cameron Stuart has contributed six assists, supporting the team’s attacking efforts.<\/p>\n Other key contributors include Felix Ludemann and Andrew Piccolo, who have logged significant minutes and shots on goal. In goal, Wyatt Dupell has played every minute, providing stability in net.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Saint Francis showed early promise but fell 4\u20132 to Bucknell on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The Red Flash surged ahead with a first-half own goal and Thero Mitchell’s first collegiate goal, assisted by Brennan Libo<\/a> in his collegiate debut.\u00a0<\/p>\n Bucknell responded just before halftime, cutting the deficit to 2\u20131, then took control in the second half with three unanswered goals, including a corner strike and a late tally in the 88th minute.\u00a0<\/p>\n Freshman goalkeeper Diego Garciarena<\/a> made several key saves to keep Saint Francis in the match, while Alex De Nittis<\/a> nearly equalized late with his first shot on goal of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n NEC HONORS Wolf turned in a standout performance in Saint Francis’ 3\u20133 draw at Loyola Maryland, recording his first career goal and adding an assist.<\/p>\n PRESEASON POLL Mercyhurst, which won the NEC regular season, and LIU, which won the NEC Tournament, have been selected as co-preseason favorites after LIU earned three first-place votes and Mercyhurst garnered five.<\/p>\n FDU picked up the remaining two top votes, while Le Moyne, Saint Francis, Stonehill, New Haven, Howard, Chicago State, and CCSU rounded out the poll.<\/p>\n Mercyhurst and New Haven are both ineligible for the postseason.\u00a0 \u00a0
