Actor Mammootty has unveiled the first look poster of the sequel to the blockbuster film Lokah, which recently became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mammootty made the announcement through a post on X, with the caption, \u201cBeyond myths. Beyond legends. A new chapter begins. #LokahChapter2\u201d. The poster features Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan, with the description, \u201cWhen legends chill: MichaelxCharlie\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dulquer released\u00a0a video on his official\u00a0YouTube channel, featuring a conversation between the\u00a0characters essayed by Tovino and Dulquer, hinting at the plot of the sequel.\u00a0Wayfarer Films had hinted at the release the previous day on social media, posting: \u201cSomething\u2019s dropping tomorrow! 11:11 am surprise, stay locked in.\u201d The message was shared alongside a poster featuring the Lokah universe logo.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Wayfarer Films, the cast and crew largely remain the same.<\/p>\n

Chapter 1 continues successful run at box office<\/p>\n

Lokah\u00a0continues to dominate the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films featuring a female lead. Its mix of dark fantasy, superhero elements, and gripping storytelling has struck a chord with audiences, driving record-breaking ticket sales across Kerala and beyond.<\/p>\n

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer under his banner Wayfarer Films, the film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as Chandra, a mysterious woman who arrives in Bengaluru and becomes entangled in a gang involved in organ trafficking. Supporting performances include Naslen, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Chandu Salimkumar, adding depth to the film\u2019s high-stakes narrative.<\/p>\n

The film also boasts numerous high-profile cameos. Anna Ben plays Anu, the ex-girlfriend of Sunny Wayne\u2019s character Kadamattathu Kathanar, while Abraham Vadakkan appears as Anu\u2019s boyfriend, Scaria. Sam Mohan portrays Johnny, a descendant of Kathanar, and Tovino Thomas appears as Chathan\/Michael, a goblin. Dulquer Salmaan himself makes a cameo as Charlie, a sword-wielding ninja and member of the Odiyan clan.<\/p>\n
