The games are coming to Kelowna because BC Place will be unavailable as Vancouver hosts 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer games.<\/p>\n

The Lions said to keep their schedule moving and to bring CFL football to a new community, they will play two regular season games at Kelowna\u2019s Apple Bowl. <\/p>\n

\u201cTouchdown Kelowna is both a practical solution and an exciting opportunity to showcase our game in the Okanagan during this historic moment for British Columbia. Alongside the games, the BC Lions will host a festival celebrating Canadian football, \u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

With dates and location to be announced soon, the festival will feature live music, food, and family-friendly fun. The goal is to showcase the best of Kelowna while creating a one-of-a-kind football celebration that brings fans together from across B.C. and beyond. <\/p>\n
