Week 4 of the NFL season is flying by with an exciting afternoon game slate to follow up the action in the early window.<\/p>\n
Among the biggest storylines on Sunday was the first career start for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who was announced as the New York Giants’ starter moving forward, sending veteran Russell Wilson to the bench after an up-and-down 1-2 start. Dart made that debut against the Los Angeles Chargers defense, which has allowed just four touchdowns through three games, allowing the third-lowest NFL passer rating in the league at 67.9.<\/p>\n

But despite the David-and-Goliath-esque matchup, he and the Giants persevered to execute a massive upset over the undefeated Chargers for their first win of the season. Dart executed a perfect opening drive for 89 yards, which was capped by a 15-yard rushing touchdown from Dart himself to take a 7-0 lead, and they kept the momentum rolling from there.<\/p>\n

The Giants ruled him out of the game, and it’s since been reported that the fear is that Nabers suffered a torn ACL<\/a>, which would end his season.<\/p>\n Plenty of eyes were also set on Philadelphia and Tampa Bay this week, as the Eagles and Bucs were two of the final six undefeated teams left in 2025. The Eagles held a 24-3 lead over the Buccaneers at one point, as Mayfield and the Bucs got off to a slow start in this contest.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Tampa Bay punted on four of its first five offensive drives prior to closing the gap with multiple 70-plus yard touchdowns in the third quarter. In the end, it wasn’t enough, though, and the Buccaneers incurred their first loss of the season, with the Eagles advancing to a 4-0 start on the back of a 31-25 victory<\/a>.<\/p>\n The four-game late afternoon window offers plenty of intrigue, too, with the four-game slate headlined by a showdown between two MVP quarterbacks as the Baltimore Ravens visit the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>. Each of these teams has been off to a slow start in the win-loss column, both entering Week 4 with a 1-2 record<\/a>. The Ravens’ start, in particular, has been surprising, having scored 30-plus points in each of their three matchups.
