\n\tWalton Goggins<\/a> has a response to Pete Davidson<\/a> after the latter predicted fans will soon \u201cturn\u201d on the White Lotus actor.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast week, The Hollywood Reporter posted<\/a> a story on Davidson\u2019s comments, which were made on Theo Von\u2019s\u00a0This Past Weekend<\/a>\u00a0podcast. The two were talking about how some people experience a quick rise to fame, only to see a shift in fan perception.<\/p>\n

\n\tOne example Davidson gave was Pedro Pascal<\/a>. \u201cLook at Pedro Pascal right now. Fucking two years ago he\u2019s a hardworking, great actor \u2026 He\u2019s worked so hard and has been a struggling actor, [then] fucking blows up so fucking hard, everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Daddy, daddy! Yeah, daddy, daddy,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cAnd then a year later, he\u2019s, like, in everything now \u2019cause he\u2019s hot and big and everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Go the fuck away, dude.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tDavidson then opined that \u201cyou got to give someone time to adjust to that new level of fame. He\u2019s been banging at it for 30 years, and now he\u2019s learning how to go get a cup of coffee or deal with someone that taps you on the shoulder while you have your earbuds in and freaks you out. You got to give that guy a fucking second to, like, adjust.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe former Saturday Night Live star then mentioned Goggins as the next actor who may endure the same kind of treatment as Pascal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey\u2019re gonna do it with Walton Goggins, [he] will be next,\u201d he predicted. \u201cIt\u2019s like, we build everybody up and now it\u2019s so fast to turn. It\u2019s within months.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tGoggins saw the THR story and posted about it on Instagram on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe started out by writing, \u201cI saw this article and had to respond. (Pete was talking about his own experience) Pete we don\u2019t know each other but I appreciate the heads up. We agree on one thing\u2026 Pedro Pascal isn\u2019t a good man, He\u2019s a great man. A dear friend of mine. As a 53 yr old I\u2019m acutely aware that every experience has a shelf life. I appreciate so many of you going on this journey with me. I imagine a lot of you (and I don\u2019t blame you) are tired of hearing my homilies. Trust me I\u2019m tired of saying them. I have a few things coming out that I have an obligation to talk about\u2026 not for me mind you, but to honor all of those that worked so hard to bring these stories to fruition.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGoggins also urged fans to keep scrolling if they didn\u2019t want to click on a story about him.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSo if you see something with my name on it I encourage you not to click on it\u2026 unless you want to\u2026 and if you do\u2026I appreciate the support,\u201d he continued. \u201cSee to me, being included in this headline isn\u2019t a curse it\u2019s a blessing. How lucky am I that this is even a possibility?!! I\u2019ve had the good fortune of engaging in so many interesting conversations with so many of you\u2026.of collaborating with so many top-shelf people across so many disciplines over the last couple of years. Way more than a poor kid from GA would ever have the audacity to imagine. I wouldn\u2019t take one back. So\u2026If saying yes in life more than saying no is a crime, then I\u2019m guilty as charged.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGoggins also reflected on whether Davidson\u2019s prediction might come to fruition and how he\u2019d feel about it if it did.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf this headline is a possibility or an inevitability\u2026 if this is my fate\u2026 Well\u2026 Fuck it. I\u2019m going to enjoy the FUCK OUT OF IT,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n

\n\tGoggins was nominated for his role as Rick Hatchett in The White Lotus<\/a> earlier this year. His upcoming credits include the animated film Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture the climbing movie Batso, with Lewis Pullman and Jessica Biel. He also returns for Season 2 of Prime Video\u2019s Fallout, which earned him an Emmy nom last year.<\/p>\n
