Just five minutes later, Mireya Stephenson netted her first collegiate goal to double their score. The Wildcats extended their lead to 3–0 at the 75-minute mark when Marissa Arnst scored her first career goal, assisted by Sami Baytosh.

The Cowgirls continued to put up a fight, and at the 89-minute mark, Sonora De Fini connected on a free kick from Sophie Wilson, avoiding a shutout game with her third goal of the season. Unfortunately, it was too late to complete a full comeback. Arizona dominated statistically, outshooting OSU 21–6 and holding roughly 69% possession. Cowgirl goalkeeper Logan Marks kept her team in the game early with eight saves, including several in one-on-one situations.

With the loss, OSU drops to 4–5–2 overall and 0–2–1 in Big 12 play, while Arizona improves to 7–4 overall and 2–1 in conference play. The Cowgirls will look to bounce back as conference action continues next week.

sports.ed@ocolly.com

The Oklahoma State Cowgirls fell to Arizona, 3–1, in a Big 12 women’s soccer matchup in Tucson on…

[440
49,48,561,82
0":"post-177870","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-soccer","8":"tag-ca","9":"tag-canada","10":"tag-soccer","11":"tag-sports
["GET
