But Kelsey Mitchell scored 25 points in Game 4, while Aliyah Boston added 24 points and 14 rebounds to even the series.<\/p>\n
The Fever have reached the brink of the finals while battling through a litany of injuries, including the loss of star guard Caitlin Clark for all but 13 games this season. Mitchell has picked up the slack, averaging more than 20 points per game and a nod as a finalist for the league’s MVP, which was won by Las Vegas center A’ja Wilson.<\/p>\n
Wilson, who was presented the MVP trophy at the start of the semifinal series, is averaging 23.4 points and 10.2 rebounds this season for the Aces.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In addition to Clark, who continues to recover from a groin injury, the Fever are without Sydney Colson (knee), Chloe Bibby (knee), Sophie Cunningham (knee) and Aari McDonald (foot), who have all been declared out for the season. Damiris Dantas also appears on Indiana’s injury report as she is in the concussion protocol.<\/p>\n
There are no Aces players on the team’s injury report as of Monday evening.<\/p>\n
Tip-off for Game 5 is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN2.
